The purpose of our hemp innovation, education and research centre is to promote the environmentally friendly uses of Industrial Hemp.

Hemp Facts.

1) Did you know that one hectare of hemp can remove twenty tonnes of carbon dioxide from the air in just twelve weeks, that far more than any trees can do.

2) Hemp can be turned into Biochar (charcoal) storing the captured carbon for hundred of years, hemp biochar could be used to offset your carbon footprint.

3) As it grows, industrial hemp reconditions the soil, removing toxins including PFSAs also known as 'forever chemicals'. storing the PFSA particles in the bio mass.

4) Hemp can be used to make hemp graphene, an ultra thin layer of hemp carbon one atom thin and used in nano technology to make components and even graphene batteries. Graphene batteries are planet friendly unlike lithium batteries.

5) Hemp also makes a great building material, when made into hempcrete the hemp blocks are fire resistant. The hemp is light weight, breathable and ideal for insulation material in walls and ceilings.

There are many reasons to support the growing of industrial hemp and promote its uses. Help us raise awareness with the general public, businesses of all sizes and government bodies.
