Growing and promoting Industrial Hemp.
Why do we grow and promote it?
Mainly to sequester carbon from the atmosphere and to help the planet, but also to make environmentally friendly Hemp Biochar which locks the carbon away for hundreds of years.
Did you know that Hemp sequesters four times more carbon per hectare than trees and is far more efficient at removing carbon from the atmosphere.
It benefits the environment by conditioning the soil around it.
Hemp flowers are a magnet to bees and other pollinating insects, making hemp an environmentally friendly crop.
Hemp requires a lot less water than other crops and doesn't need pesticides, making it a self sufficient crop capable of growing in most soils.
We even practice "no dig planting", so the seeds are injected into the soil without the need to plough or disturb the ground.
All our hemp has very low in THC levels and is not suitable for cannabis oil, however all parts of the plant can be used to lock away the sequestered carbon through hemp biochar.

Other facts.
If every farm in the UK grew just half an acre of hemp, the UK could sequesters one million and eighty thousand tonnes of carbon per annum.
If each of the 2,400 Golf courses in the UK, grew just half an acre of Hemp on each course, it would sequester five tonnes of carbon per course, which equals twelve thousand tonnes per annum.
Every month we are signing up new farmers and land owner wanting to grow hemp with us. That's great for us and great for the environment.
